Matthew has worked with entrepreneurs as an investor, operator, and advisor across early-stage and growth environments, with deep experience evaluating and guiding critical founder decisions. As a Senior Associate at Palm Venture Studios, he led investments end-to-end, evaluating hundreds of founder decisions and deploying capital into startups. His background in financial strategy and consulting brings a disciplined, analytical approach to capital allocation and decision-making. Matthew now leads founder development at Sbur, helping early-stage companies refine positioning, improve decision-making, and become investor-ready.
Varnit Khanna

Varnit brings more than two decades of deep technology leadership across both high‑growth startups and Fortune‑500 enterprises. Prior to Sbur, Varnit held a senior engineering leadership role at Capital One, where he led an organization of about 50 engineers and launched multiple award‑winning Small Business Card products. He has also led Technology organizations at various startups, where he drove the transition to cloud‑native, data‑intensive architectures and managed distributed engineering teams worldwide. His expertise spans distributed systems, AI/NLP, big‑data, and cloud platforms, giving him a unique perspective on scaling innovative solutions from prototype to enterprise‑grade deployments. At Sbur, Varnit leads product and technology strategy, delivering a full-stack experience and an AI matching engine to connect founders, mentors, and investors at scale.
