This Privacy Policy of Sbur, Inc. (also dba “Sbur”, “sbur”, “The Leaders”, and “On-Demand Advisory Board”) explains what happens to personal data you give us or that we collect from or about you.

What information we process

We may process your name, title, employer, mobile phone number, email, publicly available profile information, venture information, contacts you provide, location information, and activity in the Sbur service.

How we use it

We use information to provide services such as organizing and attending Get-togethers, sharing Get-togethers, making introductions, exchanging authorized contact information, improving platform security, detecting fraud, and understanding engagement.

How we share it

We provide contact information to other members only when you have personally authorized the exchange. We do not share private personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising, except as required by law or law enforcement under proper legal procedures.

Direct messages and meetings

The Sbur App provides direct messaging between members. We keep records of those exchanges. Unless required by law or law enforcement to protect communication systems, we do not listen to, record, view, intercept, or keep records of in-person or virtual meeting exchanges.

Your choices

You can update personal information in the Profile tab of the Sbur App. You can cancel or terminate your account to withdraw consent; account profile information will be deleted. You may opt out of Sbur meeting invitations and alerts sent by email and text.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as we have reasonable business needs, provide services, or are required by law. We use appropriate technical measures designed to protect personal data, though no electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Policy changes

We reserve the right to modify this policy and will timely inform you of material changes.
